First Time at FMCC?
We're really glad
you're here.
Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning after time away, or just looking for a community — there's a place for you here.
Plan Your Visit
Let us know
you're coming.
Our Connect Team will be looking out for you. No pressure — just a warm welcome waiting on the other side.
What to Expect
Here's what a Sunday actually looks like.
Here's an honest picture of a typical Sunday morning at FMCC.
Teaching
Straight from Scripture
Our pastors teach verse-by-verse throughout the Bible. The goal is to understand what God's Word actually says and how it shapes the way we live.
Worship
A blend of old and new
We sing hymns, traditional praise songs, and contemporary worship. We usually have a full band and some weeks are more acoustic. Come as you are.
Length
About 60–70 minutes
Services typically wrap up in just over an hour, with time afterward to grab coffee, meet people, or head out whenever you're ready.
Dress code
Whatever you're comfortable in
Jeans, shorts, a dress — whatever you'd wear to hang out with friends. There's no performance here, and there's no dress code.
Your First Visit
What happens when you walk in.
We know showing up somewhere new for the first time takes courage. Here's exactly what to expect from the parking lot to your seat.
-
1
Parking
A Connect Team member will be outside to help guide you to available parking.
-
2
The Connect Center
Once inside, the Connect Center is directly to your right in the front foyer. Stop by and introduce yourself — our team would love to show you around and make sure you feel at home.
-
3
Find a seat
There are no assigned seats, no member sections, no VIP rows. Sit wherever feels comfortable.
-
4
After the service
Stick around. Some of the best conversations happen in the lobby after the service ends.
FMCC Kids
Your kids are in good hands.
FMCC Kids serves children from infancy through elementary school during every Sunday service, in a safe, joyful environment where kids can grow in their own faith.
- A Connect Team member walks you to Kids Check-In when you arrive.
- Volunteers help you register and walk your child to their age-appropriate classroom.
- Each family gets a secure check-in number. Present it after the service to pick up your child.

Common Questions
A few things people usually ask.
Not at all. Just show up. We're excited to meet you!
Yes. Genuinely. Many people who come to FMCC are exploring faith for the first time or returning after years away. You don't need to have anything figured out. We're not a community of people with all the answers — we're people learning together.
Cypress Coffeehouse is an on-site coffee shop at 8400 Cypress Lake Drive, open to the public seven days a week. It's an extension of the church — a place where anyone can come, linger, and feel at home. Stop in before or after service, or any day you need a good cup of coffee and a familiar face.
The best next step is a Community Group — small groups that meet throughout the week for Bible study, real friendship, and life together. Email info@fmcc.life and we'll help you find one that fits your schedule.
